Just recently, I picked up a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend IV with the ACC technology. The Tiempo is Nike’s “Heritage” line of shoes, meaning that they have a more classic feel to the boot. Kangaroo Leather is the primary upper material, and this leather used is very soft and has a nice thickness to it. In addition to the soft leather used, Nike has also added ACC (All Conditions Control) to the Legend.

ACC is Nike’s new technology being used on all of their high end cleats from the featherweight Vapor to the more solid feeling T90 Laser. ACC provides the same amount of grip and control in dry conditions as well as wet conditions. After playing in these cleats one, I have nothing bad to say about this technology or the boot itself. It was raining while I played in them, and I had no issues with the ball slipping off my foot. Also, the water seemed to bead up on the upper, which is not very likely for a leather boot.

In terms of colorway, I decided to get the Black/White/Metallic Cool Grey/Challenge Red combination. There are newer colorways on the market that are up for Pre-Order. I have already written a post on the black and electric green colorway, and you can check it ouhere. The Legend IV retails at $160, but some sites sell them at around $144 even without membership programs.
