The second boot that Pele Sports has sent in is the 1970, which is a more classic feeling boot compared to the Trinity 3E. Pele has sent a pair over in the White/Red colorway.

With this release, Pele has created a full kangaroo leather boot with some added performance elements. The upper is finished with Pele’s Dual Friction technology to provide grip on the ball in all weather conditions. Texture wise, the upper has a very sticky and tacky feel.

In addition to the kangaroo leather upper, you get a flap tongue with is now quite unusual in soccer boots. The Adidas Predator range used to be characterized by a big flap tongue, but had stopped doing this with the release of the adiPower. On the underside of the shoe, you get a bladed stud configuration to partner a pretty sturdy and thick sole-plate. All of this makes for a boot that I believe will be fairly comfortable and durable.

I will try to play in these as much as possible and to have the review up in a month or so.
